50 Cent Trolls Diddy as Legal Battle Heats Up

Diddy’s ongoing legal battle continues to captivate the public, with the mogul reportedly pulling out all the stops to secure top-tier legal representation. It’s been reported that Diddy reached out to Joe Tacopina, the high-profile lawyer who helped ASAP Rocky secure a not guilty verdict in his assault case. Tacopina has also represented major names like Meek Mill, Michael Jackson, and even former President Donald Trump.
This move, however, didn’t go unnoticed by 50 Cent, Diddy’s longtime rival. The rapper-turned-business mogul took to Instagram to troll Diddy, joking that if the mogul could secure Tacopina’s services, he might stand a chance at beating the case. “If Diddy can get Joe, he might beat this case,” 50 Cent wrote. “But he’s gonna have to pay a lot of money, there’s no time to prepare!” The post was classic 50 Cent—relentlessly poking fun at his foe as the trial, set to begin in May, looms closer.
However, it seems Diddy’s hopes of having Tacopina as his lawyer have been dashed. In an interview with VladTV, Tacopina confirmed he turned down the offer to represent Diddy. While he stated that he believes Diddy has a “very defensible case,” Tacopina cited timing issues as the reason for his decision.
“The case boils down to an issue of consent,” Tacopina explained. “Did they consent or not? Was a gun put to someone’s head? Or did they want to do it because of the perks associated with being part of a Diddy party?”
Despite Tacopina’s refusal, the legal battle continues to unfold, with the jury selection process set to kick off soon. As always, 50 Cent will likely continue to provide commentary—whether Diddy likes it or not.
