Little Brother Announces Farewell Tour: “Our Mission Is Complete”

The legendary North Carolina duo, Little Brother, is bidding farewell with a special tour, marking the end of an era for fans of true hip-hop. Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh made the bittersweet announcement on April 7, revealing they will embark on one final tour across the U.S., titled Curtain Call.
Spanning May to October 2025, the tour will cover 12 cities, including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. The duo will also return to their home state, performing in Raleigh, NC, at the Lincoln Theatre on October 24. The tour will conclude with a special stop at the Rock The Bells Cruise, taking fans from Miami to the Bahamas from October 27-31.
Tickets for all shows will be available starting April 9 through Little Brother’s official website. Fans can catch the duo at iconic venues, including the Brooklyn Bowl, The Metro, and the Fonda Theatre.
In a recent interview with AllHipHop, Big Pooh opened up about their decision to retire, explaining that the duo’s relationship is stronger than ever. “We had a chance to reconcile and put Little Brother to bed the right way,” Pooh shared. “It was important for us to have this moment, not just for us, but for the fans who have supported us for so long.”
Phonte echoed those sentiments, stating, “We came back after a decade, got our first No. 1 record, did our own movie, and regained control of our catalog. Our mission as Little Brother is complete.”
The duo’s journey has been one of highs and lows. After a hiatus in 2010 due to personal and creative differences, they reunited in 2019 and dropped May The Lord Watch, their fifth and final album. For fans who’ve been with them since the beginning, this farewell is a fitting end to a legendary chapter in hip-hop history.
Little Brother’s Curtain Call tour is the final opportunity to witness the duo live on stage, a celebration of their contributions to the culture and the bond between Phonte and Pooh that transcends music.
