OMB Peezy Targeted in Shooting Outside North Carolina Club

Raleigh, NC – Rapper OMB Peezy was reportedly the target of a shooting outside StarBar nightclub early Sunday morning (April 13). The incident, which took place around 4 a.m., left multiple vehicles damaged but fortunately resulted in no injuries.
Witnesses described the chaos that erupted as the club emptied, with over 20 shots allegedly fired at Peezy’s sprinter van as it exited the parking lot. In addition to his vehicle, at least four other cars were struck, and several more were damaged when Peezy’s driver sped off from the scene.
Authorities are treating the case as an aggravated assault, and investigations are ongoing.
This isn’t the first time Peezy has been connected to a violent incident. In 2021, he was arrested on weapons charges linked to a music video shoot involving Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg that ended in gunfire. Though Peezy maintained his innocence, he was taken into custody and later acquitted of all charges.
At the time, he stated: “I don’t have no smoke with Roddy Ricch. I don’t have no smoke with 42 Dugg. People just ran with their own narratives.”
Despite recent legal troubles and dangerous run-ins, Peezy has continued to release music and remain active in the rap scene. There has been no official statement from his team regarding the latest shooting.
