Kodak Black’s Lawyer Denies Abuse Allegations, Threatens Legal Action

Kodak Black is firing back at ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson’s abuse allegations through his attorney, Bradford Cohen. Johnson, who shares two kids with the rapper, recently accused him of being physically and verbally abusive, while also neglecting his parental duties.

In a strong Instagram rebuttal, Cohen called the claims “pure fiction” and labeled Johnson’s actions a “money grab.” He insisted Kodak has consistently provided financial support, gifts, and even funded birthday parties for his children.

Cohen also alleged that Johnson caused over $150,000 in damage to seven of Kodak’s cars, broke windows in his home, and even injured another woman and child during a party. He says Kodak is already suing her for property damage—and now plans to add defamation to the list.

“She’s trying to keep him from seeing his kids unless he pays an outrageous sum,” Cohen said. “Enough is enough. This isn’t family law anymore—it’s extortion.”

The feud reignited after Johnson posted photos of smashed vehicles and threatened more destruction in a now-viral rant. Her fury was reportedly triggered by Kodak spending time with another ex and their son, King Khalid.
