Gunna’s Relationship With YSL Under Scrutiny After Disappearing From Label’s Socials

Gunna’s connection to YSL Records is facing renewed skepticism after eagle-eyed fans noticed a major change this week: the label’s Instagram account has completely wiped any trace of the rapper.
This digital erasure follows ongoing whispers about Gunna’s status within the crew, especially after his 2022 plea deal in the sweeping YSL RICO case. While the deal helped him walk free after eight months behind bars, it sparked “snitching” rumors that still haunt him.
At one point, it seemed there was no tension between him and Young Thug — with Gunna even getting special court approval to work with Thug again. But things took a sharp turn when Thug briefly posted a message that cast serious doubt on their friendship.
“Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” the post read before it was quickly deleted.
Despite the drama, Gunna’s former attorney, Steve Sadow, has been vocal in defending his client’s reputation. Addressing recent speculation, he clarified that Gunna didn’t provide any testimony or cooperation that harmed Young Thug’s defense.
“Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case,” Sadow stated. “He accepted an Alford plea and walked away with a five-year suspended sentence — no probation, no restrictions, no snitching.”
He emphasized that Gunna’s plea deal was not used in Thug’s trial and that Gunna was never listed as a witness.
Since his release, Gunna has returned to music and performance with major success. He’s performed across the globe, gained international recognition, and stacked millions in the process.
Still, with his name gone from YSL’s official pages, the questions around where he really stands with the label — and with Thug — are louder than ever.
