Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial Begins With Explosive Testimony From Male Escort

The sex trafficking trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs opened with graphic testimony from a male escort who claims to have been involved in a year-long sexual arrangement with Diddy and singer Cassie Ventura.
The first witness, 41-year-old Daniel Philip, testified that he was hired by the couple in 2012 and paid thousands of dollars per session. He described a series of explicit encounters where he would engage in sexual acts with Cassie while Diddy watched, gave instructions, and at times participated. Some of the sessions reportedly lasted up to 10 hours.
In a disturbing revelation, Philip alleged that during one encounter, Cassie asked him to urinate in her mouth—a moment prosecutors say left her feeling like she was choking. He also claimed Diddy took a photo of his driver’s license, which he interpreted as a threat meant to ensure his silence.
Philip said Diddy supplied him with MDMA, which once left him disoriented and physically sick. He also alleged that he witnessed Combs assault Cassie, describing an incident where Diddy threw a bottle, dragged her by the hair, and beat her behind closed doors. Out of fear for his safety, Philip said he did not intervene.
The witness added that the trauma of witnessing violence affected his ability to perform sexually—something he said led to him not being paid on certain occasions.
Diddy has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty. The trial resumes on May 13 and is expected to continue for several weeks.
