DJ Khaled Enters ‘Album Mode’ With Help From Ashton Hall — Teases Aalam of God

The We The Best mogul is back at it. DJ Khaled has officially entered album mode, and this time he’s pairing studio vibes with beach sprints.
In a recent social media post, Khaled shared a topless clip of himself running alongside fitness influencer Ashton Hall, simply captioning it: “album mode.” Fans quickly took it as a sign that the long-anticipated album, Aalam of God, is finally on the way.
Originally announced earlier this year with a high-energy teaser video featuring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos, the album was initially expected to drop in early 2025. At the time, Khaled hyped it as a monumental project, even referring to it as his version of JAY-Z’s The Black Album, saying:
“This not my last album — this my black album.”
He also teased a possible feature from Rihanna, playfully calling on her with:
“I JUST WANNA BREATHE – THE AIR THAT RIHANNA BREATHES.”
Khaled even hinted that the album would include two tracks with Drake, writing:
“FYI… DRAKE’S BACK TO WORK… SO AM I! THIS THE ONE WITH [2] DRAKES!”
But the rollout quickly hit a snag. After the announcement, Drake appeared to distance himself from the project, dropping a cryptic comment:
“Must be @drakebell,” referring to the former child star—not Drizzy himself.
The situation escalated when Khaled quietly deleted the album announcement altogether. Not long after, a bizarre incident occurred at Khaled’s Florida home, where a coffin labeled “RIP Drake” and “RIP OVO” was reportedly delivered—complete with an upside-down cross. The pranksters behind it remain unknown.
Despite the awkward moment with Drizzy, Khaled followed through on the Drake Bell joke—linking up with the former Nickelodeon star on a new track titled “MIA.” The single features Khaled’s signature ad-libs layered over a mellow, melodic beat.
While Aalam of God still has no confirmed release date or tracklist, fans are on high alert now that Khaled has declared himself back in album mode.
