Tory Lanez Hospitalized After Prison Incident Amid Ongoing Legal Disputes

Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has reportedly been hospitalized following an altercation at California Correctional Institution on Monday, May 12. Sources indicate he sustained a stab wound while in the prison yard, allegedly involving another inmate. The injury is believed to be non-life-threatening, and Lanez was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence in connection with the 2020 shooting of fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion. In recent weeks, he has remained entangled in additional legal issues stemming from a civil lawsuit filed by Megan against YouTuber Milagro Gramz. The suit alleges defamation, cyberstalking, and the sharing of manipulated explicit content.

During a recent deposition, Lanez’s conduct reportedly disrupted the legal process. Court documents claim that he was uncooperative and made inflammatory remarks, including inappropriate comments directed at Megan’s legal team. As a result, the deposition was cut short, and Megan’s lawyers have since requested the court impose sanctions for his behavior—a move his own legal team has not contested.

The lawsuit also alleges that Gramz received financial support from Lanez’s father in an effort to spread misinformation online. Megan’s team has presented evidence of transactions and obtained a restraining order against Lanez for alleged harassment.

The civil trial is currently set to begin on July 21, and both cases continue to attract significant public attention. As more developments unfold, they are expected to shed light on the broader consequences of celebrity influence, online narratives, and the legal battles that follow.
