Rick Ross Open to Reconciling with Drake After Year-Long Feud

Rick Ross has revealed that he is open to ending his year-long feud with Drake, expressing a willingness to mend their relationship. During a recent interview with Bootleg Kev, the Maybach Music Group boss spoke candidly about the possibility of reconciliation, stating, “Real n-ggas stay real. Was it something really deep? Nah. Fuck that, though. But if it’s real, it’s real and that’s what it is.”

Ross even joked about the conditions under which he might reconcile with his former collaborator: “You never know, if a n-gga send me a bottle of Luc Belaire, especially the white one. Send me a white Belaire and I’ll take a picture with you.”

Despite the lighthearted approach, Rick Ross has addressed his complicated relationship with Drake in the past. On Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast last year, Ross reflected on the tension between them, specifically after Drake mentioned his name. Ross stated, “He mentioned my name, and that’s a no-no. Don’t do that, especially when it ain’t about no real shit.” He continued by saying that while he could easily throw jabs back at Drake, he wasn’t losing any sleep over the situation.

The two artists’ feud escalated when Ross released the diss track “Champagne Moments”, which criticized Drake’s ethnicity and insinuated that he had undergone plastic surgery. Ross rapped, “You ain’t never want to be a n-gga anyway, n-gga/ That’s why you had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father’s nose.”

Despite the tension, it seems that Rick Ross is open to letting go of the past, but only if the terms feel right, keeping the door open for potential reconciliation down the line.
