Travis Scott to Star in Upcoming JACKBOYS 2 Film Alongside New Album Release

Travis Scott is gearing up for the release of JACKBOYS 2, the follow-up to his 2019 compilation project, and this time it’s coming with a movie. The Houston rapper has confirmed that the new album will be accompanied by a film, directed by Harmony Korine, who previously collaborated with Scott on Aggro Dr1ft and Circus Maximus.
Although not much is known about the film, a poster synopsis hints at a high-stakes story: “Fast cars, bright lights and one shot to make it out. JACKBOYS 2 brings Travis Scott and the crew back into the fire – where every move echoes with risk.”
The cast will include Cactus Jack artists Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, Chase B, and Sofaygo, along with West Coast rapper Wallie the Sensei. Fans believe the movie will be similar in style to Circus Maximus, blending music videos with live performance footage.
While many expected the album to drop on April 30 — Travis’s birthday — it didn’t arrive, despite him teasing its release in a birthday tribute to his mother. He wrote that she heard the album and encouraged him to drop it on his birthday.
Though it’s not out yet, JACKBOYS 2 is now available for pre-order, along with new merch. Scott has been building anticipation for the project with a series of teasers over the past few weeks.
